Estrangement
The door of my house was a marginal door
It was secondary door in my life
I did not care if I left it unlocked
Or that a gust of wind rushed in from a crevice
I would say, the wind came with a friend
All my neighbors are relatives and many are those who love me
And the children of the district are guardians
And they are as trumpets in their play
But, now I fear
To forget
To lock the door twice
And to hear
A knock at my neighbor’s door
Fills me with panic
